Around 2005, Eb met Phil when auditioning to join a group in which Phil was playing bass. Eb didn't fit that group , and when it broke up a short time later Eb and Phil began a duo collaboration a-la Hot Tuna.

Phil brings huge energy to the band and is our conscience, keeping us focus when the fumes become too headdy.
