Michael Huckaby

Mike started hiking at the age of four and is still going strong.  Mike has experience guiding throughout the desert southwest and Colorado Plateau and extensive experience in Mexico.  He also has trekked Glacier National Park extensively. He  has been visiting and guiding Copper Canyon (Mexico’s "grand canyon") regularly since 1991 and speaks fluent Spanish.  Mike is a member of the Southern Arizona Hiking Club and  TSN (orienteering). Mike has been a Trek America guide and often guides with his partner, Cathy Waterman. Being half Austrian (on his mother’s side) Mike also speaks German.
