The largest airports in the Europe

In present, almost all of larger towns in the continent own airport. The same is in USA, Canada or Australia. Buying flight tickets is much more usual for everyone, then it was fifteen years earlier. But there are few large airports in the world, extents of it are sometimes larger then size of a small town. Airports like that are capable to send people to antipodes with one cruise! They are so huge, that sometimes you will need a map to avoid getting lost.

Airfield Charles de Gaulle capital of France

This situated 23 kilometers out of Paris airfield, is second in the Europe and seventh in the world (if we are saying about number of checked tourists every year) . There are 3 terminals. First one is for international flights, second one is for domestic flights only, third one is for buyers of low-price cheap flight tickets. To get here from the middle of Paris, you could to take a cab (50 Euro), or train. But get ready for road lasting almost one hour. Near to the airfield you find some hotels and motels. In first terminal there are many of galleries, shops, pubs and boutiques.



Airport Frankfurt (Germany)



This airport is the largest in country. Situated 10 kilometers from the center, contains two terminals. They are not connected with each other, but there is a train cursing between it for free. At airport are staying airplanes from over 100 airlines companies. It is no problem to buy flight tickets to any plane at the airfield area. To get here you could rent a cab (20 Euro), take a bus or take your own vehicle– there is many of parking lots, long and short terms. Also, there is a railway stop, you can get here directly from almost every city in Germany.

Amsterdam Schiphol’s Airfield (Netherlands)

The biggest airport in this area, was build in early twentieth century. There is only one terminal, cut into 2 parts : one for Departures and second for Arrivals flights Airport is situated next to highway, so you can easy get here by car or cab. The cheapest choice will be train – trip from old town costs couple Euro. Also you may get here from Rotterdam, Utrecht, Haga and so on, by city bus. At the airport’s location you may rent a car, eat lunch, buy flight tickets, get some groceries, and even drink a cocktail in local bar.

Heathrow Airport in London (United Kingdom)

It is number one in Europe and third in the world – last year, 70 millions of passengers were checked at Heathrow airfield. Also, this one has the largest number of internationals flights. It contain five terminals, reserved for ninety airline companies, and it connect with nearly 100 countries (vistit page). Inside you could find many of restaurants, pubs, shops and boutiques. It is one of six airports in capital area, you may come here easily by car or cab – there is highway next to it. Also, you can take a city bus or choose railway – there is a railway station close to Heatherow.

If you want to make sure, that you don’t need to interchange in time of your cruise, just get flight tickets for plane coming from one of the airports above. You will see there jets cruising all around the world without any stops. And those airports are still getting bigger.
