Tons of of them have read that in Poland it is easy to experience everything you want – sea, lakes, rivers and mountains . However, it is not regularly mentioned, that connection between these places is rather slow. Even though new train connections were introduced recently , most of them are still pretty slow. For example, it may take up to dozen hours to travel from the sea to the mountains. Even though there are several express train, there are much more expensive than the standard one. Bus enterprises do their best, to offer better solutions. They offer fast and highly well organized bus connections, not just connecting big Polish cities, but neighboring countries. This is worth to note that bus firms perfectly fit into this market niche. Passengers, tired with slow and eternally delayed trains, began to travel mostly by buses. Nonetheless, it is still worth to be aware, that there are not a lot of highways yet. It means that even though coaches firms do their best to make travel as quick as possible, the travel time still hugely depends on public roads. Therefore, travel from one site of Poland to the other one, may still take a long time.
Luckily, the situation has been seen by many airlines. Few years ago, domestic flights were not that popular. Even though there were, for example, flights to Wroclaw, there were pretty expensive compared to trains and buses connections. So, they were not very attractive. It was very similar case when it comes to flights to neighbouring countries, for instance, flights from warsaw to Vilnius. A while ago, people were travelling mostly by buses (visit). Luckily, the situation has changed already. Airlines began to see the huge potential in the needs of customers travelling on short distances. They not just introduced new connections between different Polish cities and neighbouring countries, but also started to have more competitive prices.
